How it works

How it works — 2 minutes, 1 filter

Most modern cars have a cabin air filter (pollen filter) behind the glovebox. It catches dust, pollen and road grit before they reach the cabin vents.

The 2-minute glovebox swap

  1. Park safely and open the glovebox. Empty loose items; squeeze the sides or release the damper so it drops.
  2. 2. Find the rectangular filter cover behind or above the glovebox and unclip it.
  3. 3. Slide the old filter out and note the airflow arrow.
  4. 4. Slide the new filter in matching the arrow direction.
  5. 5. Refit the cover and glovebox. Turn the fan on — enjoy fresher cabin air.
