How it works
How it works — 2 minutes, 1 filter
Most modern cars have a cabin air filter (pollen filter) behind the glovebox. It catches dust, pollen and road grit before they reach the cabin vents.
The 2-minute glovebox swap
- Park safely and open the glovebox. Empty loose items; squeeze the sides or release the damper so it drops.
- 2. Find the rectangular filter cover behind or above the glovebox and unclip it.
- 3. Slide the old filter out and note the airflow arrow.
- 4. Slide the new filter in matching the arrow direction.
- 5. Refit the cover and glovebox. Turn the fan on — enjoy fresher cabin air.
